Jeanene Reese  is the mother of two daughters and a son, all married.  They are Jessica and Jonathan Goudeau, Jocelyn and Mark Wiebe and Jay Reese and Mary Kate McMullen.  She has five granddaughters and one grandson, all incredibly beautiful, smart and funny (of course).
 
Jeanene spoke at our Ladies Day in 2019.  The topic was “Living Lives Worthy of our Calling.
 
Jeanene lives in Abilene Texas.  Jeanene retired from Abilene Christian University after 33 years teaching in the Department of Bible, Missions, and Ministry.  She has worked with the Come before Winter ministry for the past 22 years providing renewals for missionary women and national leaders worldwide.  There she serves as a lead equipper and curriculum developer.
 
Last summer and this summer, Jeanene has taught the gospel of Luke to high schoolers at an academic camp in Rwanda.  There she also served as a mentor and prayer warrior.  Jeanene will do the same again, also adding a workshop for the local teachers and leaders on creative Bible teaching.
 
She will conclude her stay in Uganda where she will do a women’s retreat and teach a course at Messiah Theological School.

The Waynesboro Church of Christ is committed to helping women grow in their faith and become godly women. We offer a variety of events and programs throughout the year, including:

• Ladies' Breakfast: This annual breakfast is a time for women to come together, fellowship, and hear from a speaker on a relevant topic. We encourage all women to attend, regardless of their age, background, or experience.
• Ladies' Day: This annual day is a time for women to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on their spiritual growth. We will have speakers, singing, and activities that will help you grow in your faith and become the woman God created you to be. Lunch is provided.
• Women's Bible Study: This weekly Bible study is a time for women to study God's Word together and learn how to apply it to their lives. We meet regularly with a break in the summertime. 

We believe that all women are created in the image of God and have the potential to be godly women. We invite you to join us in one of our events or programs and experience the transforming power of God's love.

Here are some additional details about each event:

• Ladies' Day: Join us for a day of fellowship, inspiration, and growth as we explore the topic of Stand Together, Stand Firm . Our speaker will be Jeanene Reese from Abilene, Texas.
  The event will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Waynesboro Church of Christ. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the program at 10:00 AM. Lunch will be provided.
  We hope you will join us for this special day!

• Ladies' Bible Study: The Bible study meets every Tuesday morning at 10:00am in the church building. Our beginning theme is "A Portrait of Love" .

• Ladies' Breakfast: The breakfast will be held on a Saturday in March in the church fellowship hall.  More details will be available as the date draws near.
