This Sunday, during class, I would like to spend our time remembering Dot Hall. I will share some of my thoughts, but I would especially like for anyone that knew her and would like to talk about her to come prepared to say something. The reason I want to do this, besides the fact that I loved Dot and now miss her, can be summed up in Hebrews 3:14. The passage says, “We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.” I think it is important for the people of God to celebrate the people who remain faithful to God to the very end. We recently did this for our dear brother Vince and it was encouraging. Dot was a woman full of kindness and encouragement and it makes sense that we would celebrate that. So we will, this Sunday morning.
Have a prayerful weekend.
