We have decided to postpone bringing AWANA to our congregation. We still believe in the value it will bring, both in terms of the educational value and the outreach potential. We can see that several families do not feel safe to attend in person right now so the thought of hosting groups of kids at this time doesn’t seem wise. We want to start this exciting program when we can do it without the reservations we would have right now. Thank you for your prayers and patience.

We will be in Nashville this weekend as I will be officiating a wedding for some close friends. Both Laura and I are looking forward to a weekend away. Several hours together in the car will give us a chance to catch up with each other. The wedding itself is an outdoor wedding and will include fifteen people. It amazes me the variety of ways people do weddings now. People no longer feel like they have to have a huge wedding in a Church building. I like the way weddings now conform to the couple and whatever they want.
