Embrace the change – December 26, 2021

A change is as good as a break. I feel just as busy these days as I am on other days but it is different. I spent all day yesterday shopping in Charlottesville with Brianna. We were shopping for Laura and Bri was doing some car shopping. I enjoyed the day very much and even though shopping feels like a chore to me I feel refreshed. I am not teaching classes as much in the next two weeks which freed me up to do more visiting in the hospital. While that is tiring in its own way it is a change from my normal routine and it feels nice.
I hope everyone gets a change this week from their normal routine. I’m looking at our counter and I see cookies, candy, and hot chocolate bombs. That’s a nice change. I had never heard of hot chocolate bombs till we got some from Mikhail and Elena. There are lots of ways to change up your routine this week. I hope you feel refreshed from the change.

Merry Christmas!
