Greg Wilson became a Christian at age 19 in the White River Junction church of Christ in WRJ, VT; and soon after that, he began working with teens in the area churches. He has attended Antrim church of Christ and West Keene church of Christ, both in New Hampshire. He attended Northeastern Christian College, obtaining a degree in Business and Bible. Presently, Greg studys online with Liberty University for a degree in human resources. Joining forces with a handful of brothers and sisters, he ran a group home for abused and neglected teenage girls in Gilsum, NH, called Country Acres. The home operated for about 15 years. He has enjoyed teaching teens and adults, preaching and song-leading in the congregational setting, as well as leading many smaller setting Bible studies over the years. Presently, he is self-employed; he does odd jobs, small construction and auto repair. Greg is the deacon involved with keeping track of attendance numbers, building and liability insurance, building maintenance and vehicle maintenance. He loves helping out with the teens, occasionally teaching them and chaperoning youth trips. He enjoys leading singing and working in the control room on Sundays as well as leading Agape group. His favorite verse is Colossians 3:1-3, it reminds him to seek those things that are above, not those things here on earth and of the world. He loves to sing “Heaven Came Down,” “In Christ Alone,” “How Great Is Our God” and “Lamb of God.” He enjoys camping, boating, fishing– being outdoors, especially with family or friends. Also, he also loves teaching and listening to music. His favorite movies include: Remember the Titans, and It’s A Wonderful Life. He favorite books include: Pagan Christianity, Forgotten God, Simple Church, Jesus>Religion and Reimagining Church. Greg is married to Leah with 3 sons, a daughter and one daughter in law!– Ryan, Alex, Andrew, Tessa and Diane. They enjoyed homeschooling for 20 years. Ryan has graduated from Harding and is married to Diane and living in South Korea. Alex and Andrew are in college now and Tessa is in middle school, attending Grace Christian in Staunton this year.
