Duane Barron works as a Public Defender in Staunton.  He graduated from the University of Georgia Law School. He serves on the Education Team and the Mission Team. He is married to Elizabeth and they have two boys: Leland and John Willis. Duane was baptized as a young teenager but has been learning to follow Jesus since he was a young child. He grew up here at the Waynesboro church of Christ and has continued to meet with Christians here for most of the past twenty years. His favorite passage is Matthew 22:36-40 because it reminds him of his duty to love God and his neighbor. Duane loves to sing “O Sacred Head” and “O Holy Night.” He enjoys wrestling with his boys, watching a good movie or play with his wife, and renovating houses. His favorite book recently is THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD, WINNIE THE POOH, and various children’s Bible story books.
