Sunset
One thing Puerto Vallarta is known for is their sunsets. The sun sets each night right over the ocean. It is like the sun sinks into the sea each night. While we were there, some nights were cloudy so we didn’t get to see. On the nights when it was clear enough, however, it was spectacular. On our last night there we some clouds on the horizon that seemed to form a pillow for the sun to set on and the sky was such a deep red. I had never seen anything quite like it. We realized that the heavens also declare the glory of God in Mexico.
We had a great time on our vacation and were able to really relax. We got to do and see a lot of cool things in a place we had never been. I always find it faith-building to see God at work in different places of the world. I must admit that it made us feel better to know that we live in the mountains so when we were leaving we did not feel so much like we were leaving the mountains behind. It is good to be home.
Looking forward to Sunday,
